Sunlight: | Prefers low to medium light. They thrives well in full shade, can survive in low light conditions as well. Too much of direct sunlight can damage their fragile leaves. |

Watering: | They like moist soil but not totally wet. Water only when the top soil is dry. You may water it once in every 3-4 days and reduce the frequency to once a week in colder months. |

Repotting: | Ideally you should re-pot it once every 2 years. Re-pot the plant late in winter or early spring. At the time of repotting pick a pot that is at least 1-2 inches bigger than your previous pot. |
Propagation: | Usually propagated through divisions. The repotted divisions must be kept moist, warm, and humid while they establish. |

For pest control: Clean the leaves of the plant with a solution of little bit of dishwashing detergent / liquid Sanitizer spray and water. Wipe off the leaves after applying solution.

Avoid over-watering especially when the pot does not have drainage holes.

Common problem is leaves turning brown, yellow, or have wilted indicating nutrient deficiency through over/under watering. Hence, maintaining a balanced moisture is the key.

Best locations for placing this plant would be steamy and reasonably bright area such a. A low-lit office or bedroom will also suit fine as long as its humidity need is met.
