Haworthia- Star Cactus
This is a spreading evergreen perennial with delicately veined, deep-green, shiny and translucent leaves.
It's a slow-growing succulent rarely flowers when grown as an indoor houseplant, it does occasionally bloom with reddish or yellowish-white spikes.

Sunlight: | Ā Star cactus prefer full to partial sun, try keeping them in bight sunny locations where they can get at least 4-6 hours of afternoon sunlight. but they are adaptable to medium light conditions as well but if you want to see good growth, place them in bright indirect light or filtered light. |

Watering: | Haworthia retusa is susceptible to overwatering. To keep the succulent healthy, it is advisable to to give water only when the top 3 cm of soil is dry to touch. Overwatering can lead to root rot. If the rotting is not contained, the fungal infection will spread throughout the plant. |
Soil: | It requires a well drained and porous soil medium like succulents soil mix. Soil which is excessively rich in organic contents should not be used. |
Fertilizer: | Many Nurseries uses macro nutrients, NPK (i.e. nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) to maximize growth rates in their greenhouses. The nutrients your plant came with should last around six months, so it is around that time period that we suggest to pay attention to all the growth changes and have fertilizer ready to go for all your plant nutritional needs. After that six months of fertilization, all of your plants nutrients are a responsibility for you to undertake as the rightful new plant parent.

Keep in a bright sunny location.
Try not to water the leaves, give water to soil only.
Avoid overwatering as the roots may get rot. A sign that the roots of the succulent are starting to rot is the color of the leaves. If the leaves are turning yellow, you may be overwatering the soil.
While, re-potting or propagating try not to disturb the roots.
Required care in the winter season. If growing in a pot, then kept in indoors and growing in outside do mulching.
